Interested in becoming an Apprentice?
We work with a variety of different employers helping them to recruit the right person for the job. Not only that, we also work closely with you to help you achieve your Apprenticeship and support you throughout the programme.
If you apply for an Apprenticeship position through us you will begin your journey through an initial assessment which allows us to see exactly where you are at the beginning of your journey. This helps us to design your learning plan so that you learn the right things, at the right time and in the right way for you.
After an induction onto your Apprenticeship you will be assigned an assessor/mentor who will then arrange to visit you on a regular basis and help you to plan how you are going to achieve the different elements of your Apprenticeship Framework.
As an Apprentice you will be employed and earn a wage. Your employer must pay you at least £2.68 per hour and allow you time to complete the different elements of your Apprenticeship. This is usually 1 day per week (or the equivalent). In addition your employer will train you in the job for which they have employed you. Your assessor will ensure that you are working to the occupational standards and by observing how you work, can assess you against these standards. Your assessor will also provide any additional training you need to complete your apprenticeship.
At the end of your apprenticeship you have gained some valuable and occupationally relevant qualifications as well as some excellent work experience AND you should have a job.
